first track day ever
and it was amazing. That ranks up there as one of the best days ever.
(partly because my "pit crew" was top notch - handsome liter bike dude and my dad)
I rode better than I ever have. I picked up more speed & technique in corners than I thought I would. I was the slowest one out there, but I knew I would be. I'm a pretty cautious rider on the street but the track is a whole different ballgame and I did things I didn't think I would be able to, or feel comfortable enough to try.
I got tons of fantastic advice from HLBD and other riders. Everyone was encouraging and positive, not that I expected otherwise. I fiddled with suspension settings and different body positioning techniques and corner lines.
I can't wait to go again!
