Caponord fuel pump replacement

ETV1000 CapoNord (all years) - www.apriliaforum.com
A few monthes ago i was looking a fuel pump to replace my Caponord's fuel pump.

It was difficult to find fuel pump's infos but some members from the forum helped me.

I decided to show you the procedure i kept to replace it.

I bought this fuel pump, which cost me with the shipping costs from Germany to Greece 40 euros

Here you can see the difference from the original. The main body is a little shorter.

I removed the tank from the bike and i unscrew the ten screws that hold the pump and the filters on the tank.

Carefully i removed the entire mechanism and then i cleaned thoroughly and removed any residue from flanges on both sides, reservoir and mechanism.

It is good to clean the entire tank.

I also replaced the main fuel filter.
