ATE caliper fork rebuild vs newer forks.

Airheads - ADVrider - www.advrider.com
Hi ! Since my engine is sorted I will soon move on to the forks.

1976 R100RS with ATE 40mm brakes.

I would like to get the most out of the forks, they are in nice condition with fresh seals, springs and 7,5w oil. It does feel like I have a lot of rubbing when sagging under my weight. Would love some Brembos at some point but my current ATE setup, handlebar mounted master, braided lines, fairly new rotors and good pads, works very well.

How is the brembo R100 forks better forks or just for holding the brembo breaks and the dampers are the same ?

Thought about switching to K forks but I want to stay with snowflakes or spoke wheels which makes the brake rotors an issue.

Simon.
