Yamaha - Ready for Ivan's flash

My Questions - Yamaha Star Stryker Motorcycle Forum - www.yamahastarstryker.com
Guys,

I'm finally ready for Ivan's flash, but first I'd like to get a couple of things straightened out:

1. Can someone tell me if that will fix low speed jerking and add a smoothness to the throttle response?

2. How mpg is affected? I heard you will have to run higher rpms at highway/interstate speeds?

I know everybody says that it is a must have. I'm happy with my set up now, Cobra intake/exhaust and EJK. No excessive popping/chugging. Just don't like low speed/throttle response jerking and feeling of "short" gears when engine rattles if you shift up too early. IMO it should have enough torque to handle that high gear/low speed issue.

New Yamahas I test rode in Cherokee a couple of weeks ago had the same "jerky" throttle response, just less pronounced with their big 1900 engines. I'm trying to figure out how to get the same ride smoothness and throttle response as I experienced on Indians. Even little 60 CI Scout was a lot smoother than my 80 Stryker.
