Furkot (and others) major gripe! Readability!

Layin' down tracks - ADVrider - advrider.com
I haven't seen this mentioned here anywhere.

Does anyone else have the same problem?

Furkot (and GoogleMaps and others) all have the on-screen

maps that are almost unreadable, even with glasses.

Who is the idiot who decided to show white streets on

a light gray background with gray street labels???

Probably some 18 year old programmer with superman vision!

Were they afraid of running out of bright pixels if they

made these maps HIGH CONTRAST?

I have a AAA paper map here in front of me.

How about that!!

Bright white paper with rich black lines for the streets!!

I can see it easily without my glasses!

I literally get a headache trying to use any of these on-line

maps because of the eye strain from trying to read them.

....and if you try to print out the map, same thing, a hard

to read piece of paper with a light gray background and

white roads!

Anyone else?
